"George Washington election papers sell for thousands of dollars," Caren said. "And, Lincoln election papers are in the hundreds."

In Caren's opinion, "This Obama election paper will be more an historical keepsake rather than an investment vehicle."

As a collector and dealer who buys a broad range of historic newspapers, manuscripts and photographic historical materials from the 16th to the 20th centuries, Caren is not purchasing Obama Decisive Victory newspapers or other Obama Win papers unless someone has quantities in the thousands to sell.
He said that Vietnam era newspapers have more investment potential. In fact, Caren is looking to speak with anyone who has historic documents from that era.
