Arguably, Walmart has the most anticipated Black Friday ad each year. Although the official Walmart ad probably won’t be released until the week of Thanksgiving, shoppers can look back at last year’s ad and consider currently popular holiday gifts to predict the 2008 sales items.

On Black Friday 2007, Walmart offered discounts on products including popular game consoles Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2, plasma HDTVs from Philips and Samsung, Hamilton Beach appliances, DVD players, digital cameras, and laptops from Dell and HP.
