Kroger You may not find Wonder White Sandwich Bread here, but Wonder Classic goes for $2.19 a loaf.
Bi-Lo A popular grocery chain in eastern states, Bi-Lo sells Wonder White Sandwich bread for $2.49 a loaf.
Piggly Wiggly Located in 16 states, this popular southern grocery store has Wonder White Sandwich bread on sale for $2.19. Regular price is $2.60. They don’t carry Wonder Classic White.
Local bakeries Even if it’s not advertised, ask the manager for a special price on day-old bread. Warm it up in the microwave or toaster-oven, and the bread will taste as fresh as the day it was baked. Also you might be able to buy un-sliced bread for less.
Buy generic. Store brands are often cheaper and you couldn’t taste the difference. Look for coupons in your Sunday newspaper and check the flyers at the front of the store for extra savings.
